1、Background
The implantable blood glucose meter uses a probe made of metal electrodes to provide continuous blood glucose profiles and monitor blood glucose changes to achieve precise blood glucose control.
The probe is a long needle shaped multi-layer composite structure made of polyimide PI film, with a length of 1.5-2.5 cm, a width of less than 200 microns, and a thickness of less than 200 microns. In the production process, multiple electronic patterns such as anti adsorption layer, slow thinning layer, insulation layer, electrode layer, base layer, and reference electrode layer need to be prepared through thick film screen printing.
2、The problems encountered in printing production and process solutions
Q: After drying the printing substrate, the film becomes noticeably smaller
S: Printing after batch drying to reduce membrane deformation
Q:Printing position offset
S:Using CCD visual alignment thick film printer. Q: During the adsorption printing process, polyimide PI film leaves adsorption marks on the back, which affects the thickness uniformity of the second printing film.
S: Adopting a microporous ceramic platform and a roll paper platform (micron sized pore size) to avoid the perception of adsorption holes on the printing substrate and eliminate the occurrence of adsorption marks on the back of the membrane.
Q: After the diaphragm is reduced, the positioning mark point shifts, and the printing position accuracy cannot be controlled
S: Design the scaling of the printing graphics for the subsequent process based on the deformation ratio of the membrane.
Q:Uneven printing film thickness due to film thickness deviation
S:The JYSP thick film screen printer adopts a floating printing head, which can compensate for the unevenness of the film and achieve a uniform and uniform film thickness.
